Lack of vision: Cells need vision. I’m not referring to a man made vision. I’m talking about a vision inspired by the Word of God in which children are used mightily to impact nations. I often use the phrase “as with adults,” and I’ll use it again in this blog. As with adults, where the vision is limited or lacking, the momentum and overcoming strategies will be either off target or paralyzing.

Lack of the presence and power of Jesus: Children’s cells are not about children. Rather, they are about Jesus. He is at the center. He is the reason the cell exists. As with adults, when the cell is focused on Jesus and is empowered by the Holy Spirit, children have an encounter with the living God.

Lack of training: While we do not want training that cripples because of too many time commitments, those leading children’s cells need training. Remember that t Mario Vegas has more training for those working with children than adults. As with adults, lack of training will leave leaders disempowered and with limited skills to take the vision forward.

Lack of support: Healthy churches have coaching and support systems. As with adults, children’s cells need the same.

Lack of good cell agendas: The cell agenda is usually the application of the Word of God. Too often children’s material is teacher / pupil focused, rather than a facilitating and empowering one. As with adults, children need cell agendas that empower them to live out cell values.

Lack of leaders and parental involvement: Sadly we have made ministering to the next generation a specific calling of a few. Adults are generally unaware that it is a command on the life of every believer (and of every parent), to pass on to their children the great truths of our God. When we grasp this great truth (and it is discussed in the cells), God-given conviction will come and parents and other adults will step forward in obedience to the command of God.

Lack of safety: Remember that all churches ministering to children and young people need a good policy–which is understood by everyone–to keep the next generation safe and to protect adults from accusation. Simply stated, no adult should be alone with a minor. Every leader must know who to report child protection issues to and how to respond to a minor who discloses a child protection issue

Errores a evitar en las células infantiles

Falta de visión: las células necesitan visión. No me refiero a una visión hecha por el hombre – sino a una inspirada por la Palabra de Dios, donde los niños son usados poderosamente y formados en la infancia a impactar a las naciones. Al igual que con los adultos: Cuando la visión es limitada o inexistente – el impulso y las estrategias de superación estará fuera del destino o paralizado completamente.

La falta de la presencia y el poder de Jesús: las células infantiles no son para los niños – son acerca de Jesús. Él está en el centro. Él es la razón de ser de la célula. Al igual que con los adultos: cuando la célula se concentra en Jesús y esta el poder del Espritu Santo, los niños tienen un encuentro con el Dios viviente.

Falta de formación: Aunque no queremos entrenamiento que nos paraliza con demasiados compromisos de tiempo, aquellos que dirigen las células infantiles necesitan formación. Me encanta que Mario Vegas tiene más formación para aquellos que trabajan con los niños que con los adultos. Al igual que con los adultos: La falta de formación dejará lderes impotentes y con habilidades limitadas para tomar la visión hacia adelante.

Falta de apoyo: Las iglesias saludables tienen sistemas de entrenamiento y apoyo. Al igual que con los adultos Рlas c̩lulas infantiles necesitan entrenamiento.

La falta de buenos programas celulares: La agenda celular suele ser la aplicación de la Palabra. Con demasiada frecuencia, los niños tienen material de enfoque uno a no profesor/alumno, en lugar de un enfoque de facilitar y potenciar. Al igual que con los adultos – los niños necesitan agendas celulares escritas con el propósito de capacitarlos a vivir los valores de la célula.

La falta de lderes y la participación de los padres: Lamentablemente hemos hecho con el ministerio o con la próxima generación el llamado especfico de unos pocos. Los adultos generalmente no son conscientes de que es un smbolo de la vida de cada creyente, y de cada padre/madre, a transmitir a sus hijos y a la siguiente generación. Cuando esta doctrina regresa al púlpito (y es discutida en las células), entonces bajo la unción de la Palabra de Dios, y el poder de la convicción del Espritu Santo puede venir y los padres y otros adultos pueden un paso adelante en obediencia al mandato de Dios.

La falta de seguridad: Tenga cuidado: una iglesia con niños y jóvenes necesita una buena poltica entendida por todo el mundo para mantener la siguiente generación segura y para proteger a los adultos de cualquier acusación. Simplemente – ningún adulto debe estar a solas con un menor de edad. Cada lder debe saber a quién reportar los problemas de protección infantil, y cómo responder a un menor de edad que da a conocer un tema de protección infantil.
